I believe Jenison is near Grand Rapids, Grandville area I think.
I have to say, that's the best Mustang I've ever seen. Perhaps I'll pass you on the highway on my way to the tulip festival in Holland.

orthoguy, your car looks awsome. Im so glad I checked this thread out. I have seen pics ofthe SS body kit many times but some how I see someting I missed. Looking at that one pic on the the back end of your car I see the SS rear valance comes out fairly wide before it meest with the rear wheel flare. Is it my imagination or this looks like the solution to rear tire mud sling up on the body? Looks to me like the solution for mud flaps and keeping road trash off the body behind the rear wheel.

Please tell me how well the rear valance does at keping your body right behind the wheels clean. One other question, as asked by some one else, what kind of clearance do we have on the front air spliter? I live down a dirt road so I too have to have some decent ground clearnce and we just dont get that info anywhere, except from awsome Mustang owners like you.

Jenison is just west of Grand Rapids and by Grandville....I can't remember the clearance numbers off hand, I will check tonight and repost....I believe it was just shy of 4"

I haven't had any problems yet, but the worse thing is that I probably won't be able to install lowering springs now??

Runfox: You are correct, the rear valance does help act as a mud flap!

Mike, does the SS Rear Valence fit well. Does it seem secure? Does it just attach to the bottom of the stock bumper? I know it says 2 sided tape and 2 screws. Could more screws be added? Does the Steeda Splitter attach to the bottom of the stock grill? Is it secure?
Thanks Great Car :worship:

How well does the rear valence allow for a set of Flowmasters rear exhaust? Will a set of 4" pipes fit?

I have a black on order and was considering attaching the matte black finish directly to the rear bumper and not paint or stripe it at all (AKA the new shelby did it that way) I was impressed by the look of it painted and striped. Gives me something to think about.

Thanks for sharing your hard work.

Thinking spring here, I spent 2 days out in the garage and got the last 2 pieces of my body kit installed. (The SS louvers & SS rear valance)

The valance was a PITA to install, but with patience and a couple Molson Ice's, the job is complete.

Striping the valance was also a bit of a pain and the little fins that hang down I decided to paint but the rest is vinyl.

Here are some pics:

Looks AWESOME! Now your a part of the SS gang

Looks great. Perfect stripe color as well. If those stripes on the body/trunk are vinyl -- excellent job on the installation.
