Just was wandering what I am getting myself into...

If you have read the instructions then you know what needs to be done. It is a pain installing the side skirts and rear valance. You only get 1 shot to do it right. Scuff up the paint really well and then there is no going back. Just make sure everything is clean and lined up properly. You don't want any parts falling off.

I heard that rather then scuff up the paint someone used something to "one the pores of the paint." Not exactly sure what that means, but at least one person has used that method.

That is the adhesive promoter. Street scene states you have to scuff the paint first, then use the promoter. I have seen 2 other cars that installed the body kit without scuffing up the paint first and both are having huge problems with the parts not sticking.

Ah, didn't know that. I think that getting a body kit will be one of my last mods, still have yet to do any but have a list. More time passes the better the kits will get, RK Sport and SS going to put their new ones out.

BTW John your car is awesome.

Well in that case...

How much did it cost you? Did you just take it to a body shop?
