I hope that was meant as a joke.

Actually, it wasn't. I don't really like black rims, but I think the ADR's are pretty nice. Not so much on the Kazera's, although I've seen a yellow 05 with Kazera's that looked pretty sweet.

Those are definitely wheels I would never want to see on a Mustang.

Here is another site I found black wheels on as well.

http://oeconcepts.com/2005/mustang.html

Still looking for some for you, and still trying to decide if I might want to go with them as well. Just want to see them on your car.

Those are all for pre-'05 Mustangs.
If I can find a set of black wheels that look good AND fit, you'll DEFINITELY see them on my car in a few weeks.

I found this company on the web. Never used them. They do have Black Bullets rims in 17" and 18" for a 2005 Mustang.

OK, I found the link. Right size, look and cost. The yellow mustang in the photo is running 19x9 and 19x10 with 255/40/19 and 295/35/19 tires. Also has a drop using the Eibach pro kit. He posts on the Stang net forums and says it handles great and not too harsh.

Guys keep this in mind with your shopping. Wheel weight (and brake rotor, caliper and hubs) are the single most important things to keep light on a car since they are unsprung weight (look that up - too tired to type ) anyhow, all of these boutique wheels are likely as svelte as Kirstey Allie. I'd guess that they are all close to 30 pounds! Ask questions about weight. Don't settle for anything heavier than 24 pounds on 19" or 20-22 pounds on a 17". The HRE's are likely super light - and extremely well machined, hence their price. There you get what you pay for.

If you want performance, go light. If you want to park the car and look at it - well, buy the cheap wheels. For those looking for a dark wheel (not black, sorry) check out the SSR competition. This is a sub 20 pound forged rim that simply rules on weight and strength. Only available in a 17" rim though. But SSR also make other light weights in bigger sizes (and more expensive).

Good luck!

I'm not sure about the other guys, but I was looking for black wheels. The hyper black, or black chrome just isn't black to me.
