Black Chrome

I dont think anyone will do real black chrome. It wont last. I have spoken to several wheel suppliers about doing black chrome wheels. Black chrome on wheels doesnt have the UV rating or rust rating needed for wheels. It will also scratch pretty easy.

I am pretty sure that’s not real black chrome- it’s a new powder coat process that looks like black chrome. There are a few guys using this powder coat process now for chrome on wheels as its more durable. The company that does the powder coat chrome process also has a black chrome process. I talked to them about it. I haven’t seen their wheels in black chrome so I can’t say for sure how it looks. I have seen the black chrome process on other metals and it has a "wave' in it. The process isn’t completely smooth like real black chrome would be.
