So, I parked my car under a covered area at my apartment for a couple of days last week when it was raining. Apparently one of our lovely feathered friends got under cover and crapped on the car. I didn't notice until it had already dried. It appears I have an ever-so-slight stain from it. So, anyone recommend anything to get it out? Anyone recommend a way of tracking down the bird and showing it the business end of a Browning?

Same thing happened to me...it's on my front bumper. I was thinking clay bar might do something, but I don't know...not my area of expertise. I haven't been too worried about it since i'm replacing the front fascia with the Roush fascia. Would love to know what would work for that for future reference though. Birds love to poop on my black Stang...especially after I wash it. :bang:

I have used Liquid Glass precleaner to take it off many times. Dont panic if you see a little of your cars color on the rag, it is normal. Works great. As for the bird, cant help you cause its wabbit hunting season

It seems they wait until I clean the car as well. Maybe they only like to dive bomb shiny cars?

That would probably make a funny icon...

My favorite is the RedBull commercial. It shows a guy walking when a bird drops a bomb on him. He drinks his RedBull, grows wings, flies up over the bird, and then shows the bird flying and a stream hitting it on the back! RedBull, "it gives you wings"

ROFL ... guys that was me last Friday. Took baby out on her second day home to visit one of my clients and I swear the birds put out a hit on my ride...bunch of them nesting in the big lettered sign on the side of the building. Then to top that they were doing some bridgework and a bunch of concrete dust was washed across the road and I drove right through it so both sides of my Redfire were covered in what looked like white mud and the top looked like the bombing range for the Birdie Blue Angels....sheesh...two days old what an indignity!!! I promptly remedied it with a good bath and a rub down!!!

I'm right there with the rest of you. Had my baby since late October, and it seems everytime I wash her, it either 1) rains or 2) a bird poops on her! One Saturday, I had just washed my car and hubby and I were driving over to a friends house for a cookout. The car had only been clean 5 minutes when all of a sudden, bomb, bomb, bomb -- the bird poop started at the front fender, went up over the hood, up the windshield, down the back windshield, down the trunk and down the trunk -- all this while I was driving -- in motion!! If I could have gotten my hands on that *** bird,....................

Another time, as I was driving down the interstate, something made huge splat marks on the windshield and hood.

I don't know what it is with this car!! What did I ever do to the birds?? Do they personally have something against the '05?
