This is not really anything to drastically change the look of the car, and most people will probably find this mod pointless but i can tell the difference and i wanted the shelby grille for so long. when i got the cervinis one, the shelby was not for sale yet and since it has come out i have been debating weather to get it or not but have finally done it! and i love it. it fits a hell of a lot better than the cervinis because it uses the factory grille and it is much more finished looking. im very pleased. im installing the running pony badge tomorrow. you guys like?

only problem is, the edges on the factory gt grille got a little scuffed up while cutting out the foglights .. anyone know a good fix for this? paint? i tried mothers back to black, it doesnt really do anything at all.

I have that grille too and love it! It was a PITA to install (cutting out the Pony and fogs), but worth it! I scuffed up a couple sections too when doing my cutting, but luckily, you can't see it well without being right up on it... Shelby is *supposed* to be making an actual grill bracket, but they have been saying that since the grille came out and I haven't heard on any updates for it... I would so get it!

Off topic, but....how much did it cost you to paint your chin spoiler like that? I want to do the same thing, but with WV Blue on the edges and black in the center.

i got the cdc classic that came textured black so thats what the middle section is, textured black. it was 100 bucks to paint the outsides the car color, ua black. the body shop said it was a pain to sand down the textured section on the sides.

 

Hm, the lower insert doesnt come in chrome??

 

they make a matching lower insert, but not for my bumper, its for the gt/cs
