Finally got hood pins installed. I decided to go with the ever-popular Scott Drake billet hood pins because they looked better than the CS-6 hood pins and Shelby assured me they'd fit. And the result:
I really don't like the cables and on my test drive they flapped around. I know that's going to scratch the paint. So I decided to remove them. Rather than cut the cables, I removed them like this:
Just pull one end of the ring out of the hole and slide the cable end off. And in case I change my mind, I left the cables in there and zip-tied them together and tucked them behind the radiator cover:
And to keep track of them while I'm working under the hood (seems obvious enough but one of my neighbors had to point it out to me):
And now Cable-free!
