Best way to strip old paint off calipers?

I'm tired of my duplicolor calipers looking like poo, so I am going to strip them down and redo them in Vista Blue G2 paint.

What's the best way to clean them up? Wire wheel? Talstrip/aircraft paint remover? Need some ideas before I make a ROYAL mess!

When I changed my caliper color from red to black I used a chemical stripper and a wire wheel. I used the chemical stripped to remove the bulk of the paint and a wire wheel to clean the rest of the paint off of the calipers. I'm not sure I would recommend chemical stripper because even as careful as I tried to be I ended up with a small speck of stripper on a fender. And there's no way to get it off quick enough. I had used G2 caliper paint and the calipers had 3 to 4 coats of red on them so I felt the chemical stripper was necessary. If I had to do it again I'd use tape and plastic on the fenders before applying the chemical stripper.
