I'm not sure about the PSH do you have a pic? The GT500 spoiler is not considered a duck tail spoiler I dont think.

Hey Geos05GTvert
Do you know where I can get the install guide for the CDC light-bar?
I'm looking to get one and want to make sure I can handle the install.
Thanks

One more tip for you if your doing the install your self. When you pre drill holes into the trunk lid make sure you DO NOT drill with the trunk lid closed if you do make sure your bit doesnt extend more than a 1/2" or you will drill right into the brake light cover behind the trunk lid. This should have been noted in the instructions but it wasn't. Good Luck and post some pics for us when your done. If you don't get all the pre drilled holes centered perfectly I used a metal round file to wollow out the holes untill they were all centered. That seems to work better than the dremel or larger drill bit but it is more labor intensive.

You did this too, hugh? Luckily I noticed it after my pilot holes, so there's only a very small hole in each one. They actually look like they belong there as a vent/drain since they're on each side.

Yes it's not cheap I would take a picture to a bodyshop and ask them first. I hate body shops with a passion they always tend to screw things up and I was very confortable installing this my self since I installed the Shaker, and Aggressive Chin. I had to modify the aggressive chin (cut the inside with a utility knife) because of some clearance issues with one of the pipes that comes off the intercooler. I can tell you that the paint on my Redfire DT spoiler was a very close match a little darker. There was no dust in the paint and even the orange peel seemed matched my car. CDC does an excellent job. I always belive you get what you pay for and CDC has a reputation for having some of the best parts out there. I would assume if you pay someone to paint and install it's going to cost you around $400-$600 ontop of what you pay for the spoiler. But that's just an assumption I don't really know.

get one already painted if you can. From what I have seen you save a few bucks that way.

+1 this DT is so sick looking! It really makes the cars rear end sexy, lol. Just make sure you get a good body shop to paint it so you don't have to go back twice like I did!

I had to get mine painted twice too. The first guy didn't have a clue and he's the head painter at the local Ford dealership!

Here is a e-bay store that sells a Cervini DT painted, not sure how good though. If I had to do it all over again I probably would have ordered from them and saved $100.

I went with the Street Scene, as it has a taller tail and more angle, compared to the CDC. Some don't like that CDC has a 3rd brake light hole, but thats okay. It keeps the modern look to the car, with retro combined. Here are a few old shots of my car, the day I picked it up 2+ years ago, below.
