Mike,

I'm thinking of going with the invisible bra. There are a couple different companies, I know 3M makes one, too, which is prob the one I will get.

Example

I found someone to install it for me, but he's in Louisiana, so I have to plan to go there to get it done.

I got a Covercraft bra for my 99 GT when it was new and it has done very well. I am in the process of ordering one for my impending 06 GT. I hear Colgan also does a nice bra. As for a cover, check out Covercraft too. (www.covercraft.com) They have been in business for a very long time and put out good fitting covers in a variety of materials depending on your requirements. For an occasional cover (I have a garage but take the car to shows several times a year) check out their clearance section. I got a good generic cover for $20. They also have interior covers for us vert owners to keep the sun out of the car so we don't fry our buns.

B) We have the x-pel (3M Brand).
Can you see it????
Largest section is on the hood; about 8-9" wide and down the side
Little pricey but well worth it. From 3-4 feet away it's undetectable.
In a car show recently only 2 people noticed it before reading the cars "script", one of those was a photographer. Only other person in 8 months who noted it was also a photographer. Of course I would expect a photographer to have a trained eye and note little details. I mean look at Playboy; everything is picture perfect. If not for the articles no one would buy their magazine.
Anyway, check em out:

Goes on with a wet clear solution; much like window tint film.
Yes, it is removable. But removing will likely stretch and distort film making it unusable again.
Mine professionally installed came with a 5 year warranty for material. If film starts to lift they can inject and "reseal" it

OK If you watch the video, after the test the guy removes the film. What's the point?

http://media.xpel.com/video/gravelometer_2000.wmv

Yes, it might protect it better but if you have to remove it to see the benefit then, um, again what's the point?

What about sunlight, lines etc. Does this product affect those things? Will there be marks on my paint after a period of time? If there is damage, does the warranty cover reapplying a new strip to get rid of the damage marks left on the film?

Ahhhaaa!!!!!!

I was looking for covers and I found this customer review for the Sunbrella......

Customer Reviews:
car cover

Posted on 8/30/2005 by david w. (St Louis, MO)

"the car cover fits perfectly and was extremely useful during hurricane katrina. the cover stayed snug in spite of 95 mile an hour winds."

Wow I didn't know we had a hurricane here in STL. I must have slept through it!
