Anyone using SHR lower grille inserts?
Never knew these existed until the other day. Seems like a cool little addition, but the price is absurd. I found them on eBay for $10 cheaper, but still way too expensive for small pieces of plastic that more or less do nothing. I'm still considering buying them though.
Anybody here have them on their GT?

Lower grille inserts
I have them on my 07 I secured them with a black zip tie around the center prong on the lower bumper. Didn't want to lose one or two if I hit a bump. They just click into the opening of the lower bumper. Don't know if the inserts are the same quality as shr, but shr's parts are top quality. They also look cool and serves a purpose.

have had them in my 06 since they first were available- small touch, but makes the frontend look 'finished'.
As for the price, SHR makes their own molds and shoots them here in the USA, tooling to make even a 'simple looking' part isnt cheap. they fit great, I popped one out once, but was due to a right foot induced offroad event that required a new bumper, so wont complain... a groundhog incident just a day after the new bumper/lower valence replacement busted the valence again, but the inserts stayed put/bumper survived- groundhog didnt fare so well...
anyways, I wouldnt worry about losing one unless you plan on plowing thru snowdrifts or worse - they fit great just reminded me, I need to get a set for our 09...
