A buddy of mine ran the BFG 's in a 305 with the roush suspension and it didnt rub. Keep in mind a 305/35/18 is just a tad shorter than the stock tires. I am also running 4.10's in mine. Its hell on gas but pulls like a Motha off the line.

Wouldn't it depend on how much sidewall you want out of your 305s if you are lowered? I would think so...

Is your fuel efficiency pretty much out the window with the 4.10s? I keep reading is not, but if you have 4.10s and a shorter diameter than stock, then you are making the ratio even taller, right?

It wouldn't make it taller, it would make it shorter.

That 305 tire has a 26.4" diameter while a stock tire has a 27.2" diameter. That would make a 4.10 gear act like a 4.22 gear.

You are right, I got the wrong "taller", I meant to say shorter!

Brotha man, you don't know the half of it. I have a 3 1/2 car garage and still don't have any room. My car, her car, my motorcycle, her motorcycle, couple work benches, beer fridge, TV.... geesh. I need a 6 car garage!

Actually the 305s that I run are 28.81" tall.

But to answer your question, I threw an extra 250rwhp to it, put in 4.10 gears, and with the tire size difference they come out to 3.89s.

For the record, you CAN run 315s without any problems. I've even seen 335/30/18s without any modifications.

Sorry this is turning into a never ending thread... but what about 315/35/18s on an eibach pro-kit? Or will you have to go with a 30 series?

What are modifications you can do to pull out a slightly wider tire (other than rolling the wells).

I can address part of your question - there is no need to roll the fender lips because the factory already did it

I couldn't take it any longer and got the 18x10's DD(for the rear) Bullitts (AR TT M's) with a set of 555 E-Nittos.I already have a set of 18x9's so i'll be selling a pair of them. They'll be in just in time for the weekend.

yup, with no problems at all. some will tell you the 295's are too big for a 9" wheel, but Nitto's run small, if they were BFG's, they wouldn't fit.

So, what size tires and rims are you putting on the front?
