I wonder how long before the moderators delete or heavily edit this thread.

The only pics that I have on a car are the ones from carbonware's website. I didn't take any pictures of the hood while it was on the car, I just test fitted the hood to make sure it fit well.

If you are really interested, I will mount the hood on my car tomorow afternoon and take some pictures for you. The hood is unpainted, just as it came from Carbonware.

I am asking $265 plus shipping.

I 'm not crazy about the original hood in question..I like the shakers but i wish they were in a finished painted look like scoops. I don't care for flat black..If I had a black car,I would even paint the mirrors..JMO
P.s. I love you guys

You can have that done. I have seen a couple done that way. One was Redfire and I can't remember the other colors, but IMO it looked better black.

Oh, like YOU are gonna cut a huge hole in your hood?

Why don't you get the CDC light bar instead so I can climb in and out of your car to see if I like it!

I have the MACH II hood and all I can say is DON'T buy it unless you are prepared to shell out lots of money to make it fit/look right. I bought mine from dallas mustang(someone out of cali makes the hoods), and it was evidently a complete piece of crap. The hood originally was not symetrical in any way and had TONS of bubbles under the gelcoat that had to be shaved out and refilled. The guy thats doing the prep work/paint on my hood is sticking to his original price since he didn't look it over very well before quoting me. He said if he had though, that it was easily a $800+ job for prep and paint.

I, unlike most love the design of the hood and that is why I kept it. The hood looks so much better in person than in the pictures. When I get my car back in a few days I'll post some pictures.

Jenks....The cervini ram air is a nice fit, it did take some work on the bodyshops part to make it 'perfect' but according to cervini that is not the norm. make sure you receive the grill insert for the hood scoop when you get it, right now cervini has them on back order.......
