dont listen to these guys... do what YOU like. Im not a fan of the shacker hood stuff. Looks tacky and more rice than anything (function or not, too many bends to be worth anything). But im the minority here it seems. Again, do what you like. See if you can get a pic of your car from the same agle the hood is taken and someone might be able to phot shop it for you. Personally, i am waiting from someone to make the calif dream hood again.

A Shaker RICE WTF

I do agree with doing what YOU like though. I personally don't think I would like that hood, but I would like to see it on a car before I make my final decision.
Can some one Chop that on a car ??

ya i said it, the shaker is rice. but it doesnt matter what i think, if you like it, roll with it.

Me personally, the dull black they come in look very tacky to me. Again thats just my opinion which matters not to anyone except me. Yes, i think they look ricey on the mach's (new). I just dont like the looks of them on the newer style mustangs. Now on the older stangs, i think they fit it. Its a diffrent style. New mustang while looking retro, still have a sleek look to them. I just dont think the shaker adds to the sleek muscle look. Again, its just my opinion, and like like they say - opinions are like **** holes, everyone has one and they all stink.

back on topic - if you like it, roll with it. If your on the fence, think about it for a while longer. You will know what you like, because that CC will be on the table faster than you can find a number to call and order it. Good luck

I dunno... it looks OK on the 99+ cars, but I'm not so sure about the S197s. It would be nice to see though. You can be the guinea pig!!! lol.

If you like it, buy it. If you find out later you don't like it, sell it to a ricer.

Sleek maybe, maybe not. Muscle OH H E L L YEA. Shaker SCREAMS muscle unless you think this isn't muscle.

I don't really care for the Mach 2 hood. IMO, it cheapens the car...

If you like it, get it! If every Mustang looked the same it would suck!

Rice... Tacky... Doesn't add to the muscle look... Those aren't opinions, those are asinine statements.

Ditto on the "do your own thing" advice. Creative word, "ricerish", but I'm not sure if it fits that hood. But I also don't think that hood fits the car, either. The two styles just don't mesh well. Now the Mach 1 hood is something I've been waiting to see on an S197, but now that I've seen it, I don't think it's right somehow, either. Too much cowl. My favorite so far is the shaker, especially with the '69-'70 style hood bullit, and I LOVE the Cervinis B2 nose kit. It just speaks to the car. If the Mach 2 hood speaks to you, then I'd say go for it, but I'm not ready to call it rice.

To like Shaker hoods or not is a personal choice. But, to say it doesn't add to the 'sleek muscle look' is simply .

I'm not set on that hood. but it kinda interested me when i saw it. i like that hood for the 99+, but i wasn't sure about how it would look on an S197. actually i'm leaning more towards the cervinis ram air hood but i just like to see other options first. i wouldn't really mind people not liking the hood if i got it cause at least me car would be more unique cause there are a lot of shakers out there( and i already put the red lights to the shaker cause i like my "powered by ford" cover and the only thing pushing that off the car would be a Roush charger.). anyway i think i'll e-mail them to see if they have pics of it on a car just too see what it looks like, but like i said i'm about 99% on the cervinis ram air hood.
