ACK! I just Googled "gelded"! Just incase Steve's not kidding, I'd advise against putting those on your Mustang. They would look better on fire anyway!

It's true when they (<---whoever the hell "they" are F'ers always have something to say) you learn something new everyday!

We ARE trying to help him out by cluing him in to the way the vast majority of Mustang fans are going to react to those lights.

Round tailights like that are a traditional Corvette/GM styling thing, and are simply not going to be well received by most Mustang guys. They are also SERIOUSLY at odds with the lines of the car (SN-95/New Edge cars can kinda sorta get away with such things in some cases). If he still wants them, it's his money and his car of course, and at least he won't be blindsided if there are negative reactions.

I agree I was poking some good hearted fun at him, I believe he has got it by now! The Mustang three lens set up has been a styling que from the first production stang.

Just my thoughts.......GG

But not in the original Mustang prototype. Then again, it was a V4 powered, rear engine car. The second Mustang concept that was the basis for the first production cars had three vertical lenses.

Joe,

We're here for you "lol", looking forward to you running your next project by us for a critical review. I know how you feel, I got trashed over my new SGT BJ AR peronalized license plate on the Team Shelby Forum and ended up replacing them with new tags at a cost of an additional $28.00. We only poke fun at the forum buds we like. Take care and enjoy your ride....

GG

NONONONONONONONONONO!

For me personally, changing the style of the lamps away from the tri-sectioned look takes away from the styling DNA that makes the Mustang special.
