Talking Another 3dCarbon GT500 Spoiler installed

I just recieved and installed my prepainted GT500 spoiler from KC at Clevenger. It fits great and install was easy with the original holes.

LOL. We should combine all of our "3DCarbon spoiler" threads into one.

Spoiler looks really good. I don't know about you, but I was a little worried at first about installing a spoiler with only double sided tape. But man, that 3M stuff is unbelievably sticky.

This may sound like a weird question... but at the center of the spoiler, what is the circumference? I'm considering both the 3d Carbon spoiler and some precut vinyl stripes, and I'm curious as to whether or not the vinyl stripe for the stock spoiler will be long enough to wrap around the ducktail (at least the visible area).

Thanks!

Looks great! Didn't 3dCarbon do a great job on the paint? I love my spoiler.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought that this spoiler used the stock holes, so it didn't just attach with the 3M tape?

Also, if you have an existing stock spoiler, is there a good way to remove that stock black tape stuff to install this one?

You may be right. The 3-piece version installs with only 3M tape, so I assumed this one did as well. It may not, though.

The one piece spoiler mounts with 2 existing holes (unless you have to drill 2 holes) and uses it also uses 3M tape to seal it down to trunk. If you do it correctly I guess in someways it will keep the water out.

Yep, that's the method I used... It was real slow, next time I'd pick up some 3M adhesive remover, as I'm sure it would work better.
