I just ordered a set of the Running Pony emblems to replace the GTs. The problem with decals is covering up the 2 holes where the emblems are.

Who has the running ponies?

Is anybody producing alternate emblems to replace the "GT" on the side of the front fenders? I'm working on a Boss theme and "Boss 281", even as a decal, would be pretty cool.

John, I purchased the 1968 GT emblems from the link below. To brothers own the company, I wish I could recall there names. I think one of the gentlemans name was Dan.
Anyway, I told them what I wanted the emblems for, and they cut and removed the original mounting tabs for me and applied 3M tape to the emblems, just like the factory emblems. It took all of twenty minutes to remove the old and install the new. That is without damaging the factory ones.
