Agent 47 Mirrors on my car: yea or nay?
Yes and no.
If you want the black section sanded to eliminate the mold split line and painted satin black, then yes, the second color is an additional 125.00
If you don't mind the mold split line and want to leave it as molded (black) then no, there's no additional cost to mask it off and leave it alone.

I like the Agent 47 mirrors the best. I bought a set and had them painted by a freind for $60.00.The smaller mirror takes a little time to get used to but now doesn't bother me at all. Here is a pic from the driver side.
I needed to temporarily remove my A47s for paint and reinstalled the stockers as I needed the car driveable. What a difference! Guess I was very used to the smaller field of view as the stockers really seemed like truck mirrors with all the extra mirror area
The A47's look like crap in my opinion. Actually they look like trans-am mirrors. They don't go with the body at all. I say get the 2010 mirrors which are a little smaller or stick with what ya got. Again it's your car so do what YOU want.

They also look like Mustang II mirrors, and various other pony car era mirrors. The stock mirrors '05-09 look just like F150 mirrors and the 2010's are still too big, but better.
Just depends whether you want a retro look, which is what the 05-09 is, or modern/euro look, a la 2010. But that's why there are choices.

I can respect that you do not prefer them... but they are modeled after the sports mirror on 69/70
I guess I'll be in the minority here. I hated the f150 black slabs on the side of these cars before I got Midwest Auto Gear Mirror covers. I think the current look is just more subtle.
Do it OP! Also, Razors painted with a matte black lip and Torch center would be SEX on your car. Maybe going overboard, but the Pony Package tri-bars on the fenders and grille would look good too.
I was already thinking of almost that exact wheel setup but reversed (Matte black centers/Torch Red lip)
I have some custom fender badges already on order. Will post pics when they get here.
I want to thank everyone for the opinions, advice and photos. The 85% "for" vote coupled with the fact I found I could get a set from American Muscle for $169 shipped pushed me off the fence a few minutes ago....
I think I'm going to give them a quick satin black paint job to match my other trim (such as the Roush spoiler), and leave that on there for a bit to decide how I like it before painting the cups. I'm about 95% certain that they will end up painted though.

Sounds like a good plan.
I probably could have left mine black given the the Alloy color, but since I had some other stuff going in for paint last week, decided to get the cups done just to have a subtle contrast.
