Added 07 GTAP Hood Scoop

I recently purchased one of these scoops from KC at Clevenger Ford, had it painted and installed it yesterday. As long as you don't fear drilling holes in your stang, it's an easy install. Below are a few pictures:

How do you know where to drill the holes? Where is your hood pad?

Looks good though!

The scoop comes with a template that you tape to the hood. Once the template is in postioned using the existing holes for the windshield washer jets and the centerline of the hood, just centerpunch and drill. The underside pixs were taken before I put the hood pad back on. I just thought people would be curious how the scoop fastened.

The washer jets were not relocated. You only have to remove and re-install them, same holes. Simple!

That is really cool to know. I like the scoop. I am wrestling with the type I want to install; as I am going for the retro-Shelby look. I also have some cool Cobra washer jets that have Blue LED eyes that I want to install;so the location or relocation of said jets will play a factor when I install the scoop. I don't want to have to reroute the wiring, once I install them; so that's why I asked. Thanks for all the Info...-Coach

I have installed this hood scoop as well. It was fairly easy. I am wondering if anyone is making a chrome or stainless grill for this hood scoop.
