I was thinking along the same lines. What forums do we want to post in and who will do it? I don't mind posting on Badmustangsclub and Modularfords. What's posted should be consistent amongst all of the forums.

Just got this repsonse back:

Hey Dave!
Right now we do indeed have a manufacturing issue with the HIDs right now. As to what exactly is wrong with them I do not know, but I have heard of the problems that you described. We at Saleen cannot do anything because we do not have parts for HIDs or any way to get parts to fix the problems, but I reccomend contacting our vendor about any problems you or your friends experiance and see if they can assist you.

WOW saleen really does blow big *****, just like i said. i cant even imagine having to deal with them for warranty on one of their cars lol.

we should put a post up on stangnet, modularfords, allfordmustangs, svtsnake and? i will post up on all of those sites. im sure people have this problem and dont even know about it, i didn't know about it until someone pointed it out to me in one of my pix lol.

Exactly because Saleen advertises the lights and their design and how great they are. Now it's someone elses problem when they should be working closely with the manufacturer and trying to fix the issue. Keeping customers aware of their progress.

That is known as the Saleen signature aftertaste. Most of thier customers come to know it well.

If you have one of their cars, you don't deal with them. You deal with your Ford dealer (look in the Warranty and Service Issues sub-forum to see how well Ford dealers treat people - it varies), and he deals with them in some process that's completely invisible to the customer. My personal experience is I say "Fix this stuff" and it gets fixed, except for those mysterious problems that are 100% Ford (random location of 3rd gear, rattles all over the place, suicidal battery) that will probably never get fixed.
