20x10in Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels
#1
Here is my plan:
Front & Rear Wheels: 20x10in Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels
Front Tires: 275/30R20
Back Tires: 285/30R20
I have used the 1010tires.com calculator to compare the tire sizes and overall diameter to the Roush and Saleen wheels. It looks to me like these will fit and not rub in the front. The overall diameter is 672.84mm with the DDBW's (275/30R20) and 677.17mm with the Roush wheels (275/40R18).
I will be installing a big brake kit up front and need the 20x10in wheels to fit the big break kit otherwise I would be going with 20x8in up front.
Would there be any trouble with different overall diameters front to back? Should I stick with the same rubber all around?
If there is no rubbing will having 275mm rubber up front cause any other problems?
Does anyone have 275mm up front? Any rubbing?
Thanks for the help. I know I don't ask the easy questions.

I seem to recall many guys running 275 and even 285 up front. And a 275/30R20 is 1/2" shorter than the stock 235/55-17 tire. The 285/30-20 is also a little shorter than stock. Many of us run different size tires front and back with no issues (I have 255/50-17 up front and 275/50-17 in the back). You might also check the Exterior Mod forum... a lot of wheel/tire threads are there.

275/45/17 all 4 corners on factory rims, no probs here, even lowered. But I bet with a 20" wheel you will have rubbing in the front and I would be willing to bet the rears won't clear the 285 no matter what the backspacing. JMO. Good Luck.

I'm not sure, I guess it was more of a hope that I could use the 20in DD Bullitts if I went with the 10in vs 8in. I talked to Mustang Tuning and they took the StopTech template over and said the 20x8in DD would not fit and they don't have the 10in to check. Does anyone know if there are 20in Bullitts that are not deep dish. I want 20's, but I also want some wheels that tie in with the mustang muscle car theme.

That looks sweet. Post some more photos.
Thanks for all the feedback. I'm having so much trouble finding wheels that fit the StopTech 14in BBK.

I've had my 20's for just over 4 months now, and have had no problems. IMO 255 up front with 285 out back give a nice "mean" look. Does need to be lowered if your going with 20's though.
