2004 rims on 2005+

So I searched and couldn't find an answer...

What do I need to do to make a set of 2004 Mach 1 wheels fit on my S197? will it work, do I need a spacer, has anyone done this? Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

The rears will look ok, but the fronts will stick out way too far. You'll be a lot more happy getting the right offset for 2005+. Also, those are 17's. 18's look a lot better on S197's. Check out AFS Wheels on eBay. They sell Mach 1 replicas in the correct offset. You can get a set of 18x9's for under $500. That's what I have on my '05. In this picture, I'm running American Muscle 17x9's on the back with drag radials, but I believe they all come from the same place.

yeah i know they are 17's and i'm cool with that. the only mach 1 replicas i've seen on ebay have been 20's and i don't want wheels that heavy. i kinda dig the looks of the OEM mag replicas and can get a set for cheap just want to know if they'd work or see some pics if anyone knows where i can find them.

What about the 18" magnums from Cervini's? They have wheel and tire package with 255/45/18 BFG high price though $3500 for set of 4. Nevermind

Not sure, but....i believe the offset on the 94-2004 wheels is +27mm, the offset for the 05-up is +44mm. I have been using a set of 02 Black GT Bullits on my 05 'Vert since new. While the wheels do extend beyond the wheel wells oh so slightly....I think they give the car a bit more of an aggressive stance, especially running 245/55/17 front, and 285/40/17 out back. Looking for pics, will post if I find them.btw...wheels wheels were 300.00 set, tires, 105.00 ea fronts, 135.00 ea rears.

I see that right now they only have 20's, or 18's in black chrome, but if you send them a message, they can get you the machined or chrome finish in 18's as well.

Just the Roush springs in the rear. With the 28" tire, it fills up the wheel well quite well, while still allowing me to take bumps and such with the Cervini's kit.

Go to www.50resto.com and go to the wheel pit. in there they have a set of 18x9 magnum style rims with a deep dish look, they also have a 18 x 10 for the rears. these look awesome. think it was 1200 for the set, and that is what I want to get when I need new tires.
