I think the 14" wheels are replacements for classic (64-73) mustangs. And I agree, I think they look a little flat on the '05+, and 20" exagerates it. If they could be deeper, I think it would help some.

I'm sure that's what the 14's are for, but someone else has been making them for over 25 years.

Just checked California Mustangs website, and if calponycars is going to try to compete with the 14" wheels that are already out there, they'll have to lower their prices. California Mustang is always overpriced and they sell a complete set, including center caps & lugnuts for $700. That's less than half of what calponycars is charging for their 17's. I can't wait to see how much they think they can get for those ugly 20's.

Fanblades look like a modern interpretation of these wheels.

I shouold have taken a picture of the whole car with the whells on it to let you see what it looked like from 20 feet. It gives it a completely different look!! Maybe somebody has one from the CDC Booth????

You don't have sell me on the wheels. (at least not the style anyway) That's what I had on my '65 fastback for 16 years. In my eyes, no wheel could look better on this modern 65/66 bodystyle. It's the size that needs to change. 20's just plain look horrible on this car, IMHO.

I'm not feeling these wheels. They just look a little weird on the modern body stle (even though it's retro). I would like to see a shot with thew whole car though.

I like the design but I think 20"'s are too big and I don't like the big disc looking thing behind the spokes so you can't see the brakes. That makes it look like some kind of blingy, spinner or floater! I'd like to see an 18' without the ugly disc thing.

There's nothing behind the wheel. Back then the styles weren't as "open" as they are now. Here's a 14" '65 wheel.

I like 'em. Anybody notice in the pics of the white show car that the passenger side 1/4 window has louvers. And the driver side 1/4 window has a scoop. Weird.

I think they were trying to get the most bang for the buck by showing multiple options on the car.
