Hey Gents,
I am new to this board and need a little advice. I want to update the treads on my new '05 GT convert. I have seen the saleen wheel package in 20" and think it looks great. I have a couple of questions that those with experience may be able to help me with. I am fairly ignorant to offset etc.

1. I want to make sure the wheels and tires stay under the wheel wells. What offset do I need if I want 20x10 in the rear and 20X8.5 in the front.

2. If I use steeda's springs to lower the car an 1" will I have clearence issues?

3. Is there anything else I should know before making a purchase.? I currently have the black Bullit wheels from Ford Perf. I want to get a wheel that is not 3 piece and not chrome. I want to have a center black wheel. Any thoughts about a good wheel.
Thanks very much for the help

I know you need at least +45mm for the rear. I have seen some people go up to +50mm or more for the rears also.
