is all I can say. Magnum 500's and a Shaker hood scoop and you've got my ideal '05. Other than having it painted orange though.

I love it but the after rear wheel section would go if it were my car

Looks great ....Take off the GT emblems and put in BOSS that would be the finishing touch. No one makes a decent backlite louver yet IMO.

If only Ford would look at your BOSS Stang.Give them some inspiration

Looks awesome but I would definately loose the piece on the rear quarter. Just doesn't look like it belongs there IMO
I agree with this. It just takes away an otherwise good look. Pull it off.

Actually, I think it needs to be about 4 inches LONGER in the back, if the stripes are to resemble the original '69.

I'm going to photochop my images and see what it looks like extended and removed. Seems to be two schools of thought on those trailing edges. :notnice:

John,

Love that hood. As far as Eibach pro kit springs, I had them installed on my 96GT. Made the car look great, but man that ride quality was bone jarring. I have adjustable Koni shocks, and even with them full soft, it was too much for me. On long trips I would get back aches. I swapped them out for some Steeda springs . This improved the ride but they squeak/creak like crazy whenever I'm turning or going over a bump. Maybe they are not installed correctly

Yeah John, I agree with you, although on the '05, that's a tough thing to do. On the original 69 the stripes went all the way back on the rear quarters and ended right by the rear chrome bumper. On the '05 the bumper just curves around the car; there is no delineation. please post your photo chops, I'd love to see what you come up with.

The stripe on the rear bumper actually ended in a ball-shaped trailing edge, not a sharp cut or point. So I had them cut off the ball, which removed about 1.5" from the trailing end. I think that's the disconnect some of the folks are complaining about. But like you said, the originals ended at the bumper, and the '05 doesn't have a styling cue like that, so it's hard to say where it should end.

Give me a day or two to get to the pictures--gotta clean her up (gently!) for a cruise-in tonight.

John

Magnum 500 Mach1 rims and call her done. you have a very beautiful & tasteful stang.
Your black spoilers are very good choices.

I just noticed you have these coming in

Rear quarter window louvers (black), rear window louvers (black), 18" Magnum 500 wheels
With those you'll definately have my fave Stang on the site, can't wait for you to finish her up.

Thanks for the compliments. By the way, looking at your avatar, I THINK I may have a shot of a Boss 429 from the Mid-Maryland Ford Show this past weekend. It came in first in class (I came in third in 94-2005, and didn't have the stripes at the the time). Let me check the camera tonight...
