After I put the 20's on , that is when I realized bigger brakes were necessary...I too do not like the look of a real low profile tire on 20's, I went with 255/40/20 fronts and 295/40/20 rears, but next time around I'm going to look into getting a 305/30 for the back...

Socal.2fast has stated on here before that he got his look by keeping the suspension stock (v6) and going w/ a larger tire. Maybe you're thinking of someone else? Or, maybe he's changed it since. Either way, his car looked great w/ the stock suspension and the Foose's.
