Go 18....20s are too big in my opinion. I have yet to see any 20s that I think look good.

18s, stripes and I'd go with cevinis ducktail spoiler. Where did you see the wheels in 18s?

18's for sure. The retro style of these cars rules out the mega size wheels IMHO.

18s, although I didn't realise you could get Torque Thrusts for the S197.

Keep the rear spoiler.

I'd go black or silver stripes.

Good point. Opinions are like bumholes, everyone's got one

At the end of the day, it's your car. Go with what YOU like and stuff what others think!

how about gold stripes like a shelby/hertz rental. I like the smaller wheels - more rubber (better ride) and likely less unspung weight.

+1 18's are the perfect size.

Disagree...losing the spoiler is a great idea.

Iv'e got the 18's & love 'em. I had blue stripes & the spoiler off for a bit but put it back to stock. Cool retro look that way, though!

For side by side purposes.
I just bought 20's for my car so I am a little partial just as the guys with 18's. I can tell you that all the pictures that I have seen regarding 20's do not give justice to the amount of sidewall actually on the car. Pictures reflect rubber bands when in reality, it is a great deal more.

I really love the vintage look of the Torq-Thrusts . Who offers these for our cars?

Partial to 20's for looks. Loss of some performance will be made up later with a supercharger. My opinion is these cars look fantastic with either both 18's or 20's. The car has the retro look with the 18's but the mustang is also big enough to take 20's and not look "blinged" out. JMO.

But you'll ride smoother with 18's

18s and lowering springs make for perfect ride height IMO.

You gotta ask yourself that question about the wheels? If you like that wheel and you love your car just go for it.That wheels sure looks sweet on them other ponies. I'm pretty sure that Torque Thrust wheel comes with a polished lip,now that would look cool, especially on a red ride like yours.

Rex,

Looked great with the blue stripes and no spoiler. What made you put the spoiler back on?

Also what size wheels tires are you running? Are they 18x9? Same front and rear?
