The quest for the ponyless grille continues
Here we go again with one of those EBay grilles.... upside down picture and confusing information.
This one claims to be a "Mustang GT grille" but there's a mention in fine print saying "Brand New Black Billet Grill for a 2005-2006 Ford Mustang". No mention of V6 or GT in the specification. I e-mailed the seller with a request to clarify for which model this grille is, I hope he's going to answer soon.
$238 including the "halo" foglights:

If it's a GT gille indeed, I'm ordering it!

I checked these guys out because I want the same thing in chrome. Lots of happy customers on E-bay, good ratings and good reviews of the product, I e-mailed them to confirm that it was indeed for the V8 and that it was "plug and play" etc and they were pretty quick to respond and they assured me it was...please post if you get it and install it, someone on here got the V6 version without halos and was happy.

Here's the thread that shows the comparison of the 2 grilles.

All the grilles that ONE company offers (yes, the 10 different eBay ID's are all the same company) are the exact same grille. It's just that some of them are chromed, some are black, and some have fog lights, but one thing they ALL have in common is they are made for the V6 so they won't fit the GT.
But, hey, if you're willing to take the chance, then by all means give it a shot. I'd love to see one installed on a GT.

I asked again the seller to e-mail me the exact dimensions and the number of tabs of this grille. Overseas shipping to Holland ain't cheap enough to try it without some certainty :-)

stay with it Louie, that sounds like a good plan to finally resolve this, and I'm anxious to see thier response...if the tabs and dimensions check out with everyone on here I may be the guinea pig to actually order it.

I forgot about that.
If you get the dimensions, let me know. Remember I have all those spare GT grilles laying around so it would be easy to take measurements and/or pictures.

Well... first of all, it doesn't have the OEM honeycomb pattern. Second, it's $395. In the end it doesn't look much different than the SSE insert which I already have.
I'm not saying it's crap, on the contrary, but it's not what I'm looking for.
