17" to 18" wheels/change steering stop??
on the Ford Racing website:
"Note: For vehicles with 16" wheels from the factory: -installing 17" x 8" wheels, use steering stop 4R3Z-3932-BA -Installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA
For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory: -installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA"
Is this necessary? Anyone have problems with wheels hitting when doing full lock turning?

No one is having issues with rubbing. Still trying to figure out why Ford states that they're needed.
Thanks. You have the wheels that I want to use so if they aren't hitting on yours I should fine too. I see your tires are the same size as the GT 500 fronts. Do they fit the rim "right"? On the GT500 they look like they are a little narrower than the rim, "pulled tight" if you know what I mean. Could you post some pics of your tire/wheel setup?
Here are a couple of threads with some pics:
