15s and RWL tires

I'm considering transitioning to some 15x8 old school style wheels, the ones that are kinda plain with the holes drilled in em. And then use some rwl cooper cobra tires. I'm considering this for two reasons, I like the retro look and with the way I drive I can't afford the nittos I've been running (the cobras are half the price). Just looking for some opinions.... Thanks!

I have thought about going smaller as well. I really wanted to find some white raised letter tires to complete the old school look. To go that small what brake modifications would you have to do?

Honesty I'm not sure. Hopefully none lol. I think they put 16s on the v6s so I can't imagine, with the right wheel, that any modifications would need to be made. I gotta call up summit and check the fitment on some black steel craggars.... I'll let you know what I find out

You will need some modifications to fit 15 inch wheels over your front brakes at the very least. I recently had my tires balanced (factory 17s) with the wheel weights on the inside of the wheels, and at first the weights rubbed on the calipers and they had to rebalance them and move the weights a little.

Hmmm well that's gay.... Fortunately I'm not in a rush so I have some time to get it figured out. Thanks for the heads up man!

I think there might be a kit on the market to allow you to run smaller than 17s. You may do a Google search
