Barricade You are so right. The sequ. from webeletrics are differant than stock; 2 wires, 1 white, one black. I think I got it now. Off to autozone for parts, before that big brown truck arrives.

Ok, I've got everything now. But before digging in I would like more info from those of you that have done this. So, what is the way to hold in new sockets? Silicone or what?

if you drill your hole then dremel it to a cross like your regular stock reverse light hole
you can twist it in like stock. Thats what I did.

Well, if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have done this mod. But, now it's done. Thanks all, for the help.

Looks great!!

I keep getting condensation now in the right one (updated outside clear spot). Didnt before the mod. I pulled dried it out and checked
for seal. Put some silicone on certain places but it came back.....aarrrgggggggggggggggggggg

This is still so cool. I think I'll do it agin on my new 07. Debating on smoked or red? I think smoked is really illegal, even though the add says 50 state DOT approved.

Easy cheesy. I used those simple blue wire connects.
It will be clear as easy when you open it up and look.

Well, sent back smoked and got "legal" ones. Added in the 2 extra reverse lights like last time. Used Scott Drake sequentials this time. They have sequencing switches on them and you can change the order & style of how lights sequence. Something a little different? Need it to warm up a bit more so I can put on my Roush rear spoiler.

I love my '10 style taillights bu I don't think the head lights look quite right maybe if the halo has a larger diameter it would fill the housing more and look better

That looks great! Better than the smoked I think, the white really makes then stand out. Good choice

Got the wing, spoiler and a few other things on lately. Pic of 2008 with smoked 10 style, and the stock 06 lights. They just work work so much better on our body style, more than the 10's they came on. And I like them better than stock, obviously. Just my opinion.
