Well I wanted to do something with my intake cover just looked too boring with the sct emblem and normal ford powered. So I decided to take off the sct emblem and see if I can find something else cool. But in the mean time I had the intake cover sitting in water to clean off the adhesive on the intake, and low and behold it looked like my pony was coming off. Well it seems the chrome colored pony on the intake cover is held on by a sponge type of adhesive padding so it got wet for a while and started seperating. Well no big deal, so I take it off and am thinking about putting it back on, but I get a great Idea. I have a 3 piece paint kit I ordered for my calipers. But too cold and too much time involved right now to do that. I figured I would paint the pony to match the car. Well car is at dealer right now. So I started to paint the pony following there instructions to a tee. I think this pony turned out pretty **** nice. First did a couple coats of primer with drying time, then color coat a few times, then clear coat a few times. Man I have only put on one coat of the clearcoat and its starting to shine. So now I just need to come up with a better emblem or sticker to put on the front of the intake cover. Area is approx 2" by 6" Anyone got some other ideas. Here some pics of the progress so far.

Well heres the horse finished. Now I just have to find the right sticker for in the front area where the sct emblem was. something about 4"x2" or something near that. I love the horse color, it turned out really nice. I will silicon it in, after it dries a little more. Now to find another decal, emblem or cool sticker, any ideas!
