The 06 V6 pony pkg. grille/lamp kit fits with no mods. on the 05 V6.
Lamps are smaller than the GT lamps.

What methods of wiring harness and switch or relays has anyone used? I would like to keep it as close to OEM as possible. But could just wire it direct with a toggle or rocker switch.

Anyone have experience here?

I just put my harness in today. I bought the Street Scene harness from Summit (part#SSE-950-73591) and had to purchase two pigtails from Ford to adapt from the GT foglight bulb to the Pony bulb (harness had plugs that only fit the GT). The pigtails dont have to be spliced in, they plug into the GT plug. It went in very easily.

 

Thanks, John. I shall check it out. I did not want bother with the installation problems of the larger GT kit. Besides I kind of like the smaller lamps.

Yea, the pony grille looks much better then the GT on IMO If I buy a GT in 08 and the grille is the same, I will put the pony grille in it.
