05 Saleen Mustang Hood
There are good pictures of the hood (and everything else on the Saleen) in the March issue of Road & Track Magazine (I believe), which compares all the various '05 Mustangs available.
The hood runs ~ $850 and should fit a "standard" '05 just fine. I'm thinking of getting it myself - just wish the louvres were functional. $850 seems like a lot to spend for two pieces of plastic in two dents.
But it is so pretty...

The reason that I was interested in the hood is because I thought that the louvers were functional? I like this one and the 'boy racer' hoods the best. BTW thanks for the pictures.
Here is some good news. Check out the picture at the lower right of this link. http://3dcarbon.com/bodykits.htm

That is disapointing. It looks so good (and quite convincing).
I hope this link works but if you look at the bottom of the page it says that the Saleen hood has heat ventilation which means that it IS functional.

I coulda sworn I read in some magazine or something that it was non-functional, but the ad proves me wrong. My bad for spreading bad info. Sorry, folks.

So, hmmm, it IS functional...
