I don't know what idiot would let "ray Allen" even at a chance at a Three!!
Out of all people, he is mr. Clutch for threes, how many times we've seen that shot to win the game or tie and send into over time

What a dumb move by Spurs ... I'll never understand why teams, when they're up by 3 in final seconds, always choose to play defense on the last play instead of fouling other team. All Spurs had to do last night is foul with 5 seconds to go ... and they would've been champs now.

Oh yeah, I think game 6 was the most I've ever been entertained on the NBA level.

really? [insert Billy Madison quote here...]

you'll take a sure score over not scoring and hoping the other team doesn't every time. If you can be up 2 with 5 seconds to go, instead of down 1, you're going to take up 2 everytime if you have any sense. Just look at the percentages, if you both are shooting 50%, that means there's a 1/2 chance that you will miss your shot to win, and if you're up, there's a 1/2 chance they miss their shot to win. Me? I want to be ahead, who cares if they get last shot, most times under that circumstance, they'll miss the shot.

And fouling with that time left is a death sentence, they get an extra point, and will play to get the rebound, so any FG will tie/win, instead of having to have a three.

Well if Leonard had made both his free throws or i think Manu missed one of his two it would be a moot point now too.

Just the same, if Parker misses his lucky 3, the momentum stays with the heat anyways. And when I say lucky, that's his second 3 of the series.

We all saw how well playing defense worked out for Spurs last night. They allowed two 3 pts shots in the last 20 seconds, first by James and then by Allen.

What makes you think that Miami was gonna get an offensive rebound? If they fouled Bosh when he got an offensive rebound, he gets 2 free throws with 5 sec to go. Bosh shoots 79% free throws, so lets say he makes the first and intentionally misses the second - Duncan is gonna get the rebound. Duncan is fouled and lets say he misses both free throws - San Antonio is still up by 2 and there's maybe 3 sec left. Miami at that time had no timeouts left. So 3 sec to go - not enough time to run to the opposite part of the court and get a decent shot for the tie or win.

The great thing about Rob was you could leave him in on both ends in that situation to get you defensive rebounds on one end and your 3 pointer on the other. And with his length Bosh would have a harder time blocking it compared to little TP or Ginobli. Plus he was just a smart veteran.

Plus it gave you another legitimate 3 to guard period.

On another note

Am I the only one that looks at the bird man and sees a white Dennis Rodman?
