Trojans...
They are on a different level than the rest of the college teams. USC will win the game. If I'm wrong I'll be very surprised.

I'll admit I was wrong.
So was I. That's one of the many reasons I don't bet.
Even if replay had overturned the play when Young's knee was down when he tossed the ball, I don't think it would have made any difference. Texas was just playing too well. They deserve to be #1.

I've seen it before with Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Florida State, all very good teams which anihilated their schedule opponents simply because they were better and their competition had off or rebuilding seasons. Being hyped and crowned before the game has a tendency to make any team over confident and feel the bowl game is a mere formality preceeding the trophy award. With Texas ahead 16 -7 USC's players' body language and demeaner was the complete opposite as when they recovered Texas's fumble off their first punt. By contrast, Texas players had fire in their through out even when they were behind in the fourth quarter.
USC now joins the notorious elite group which thought they were a lot better than what they really were. They were the ones who were surprised, and humbled.
