Not too bad of a draft. Could've been better, but that's how it always is lol.

One thing I'm happy about is getting to stock up on starting and probable starting QB's. You need a new starting QB? You come to me.

The B.S. begins . . . and direct from the NFL no less . . .

BUILT ON AN AWESOME BEVY OF RBS, LOVELY DAY FOR A GUINNESS IS HEADED FOR WORLD DOMINATION

Draft Grade
A+
Proj Record
13-1
Proj Finish
1
DRAFT SUMMARY
Selecting 11th overall isn't always ideal, but the GM of Lovely Day for a Guinness handled it well, delivering a roster with playoff potential. They were careful to balance their roster from the beginning, adding a quarterback, two running backs, and two wide receivers with their first five picks. By the time the draft was completed, Lovely Day for a Guinness ended up with the most prolific pair of wide receivers in the league.

The other league managers may have passed over a diamond in the rough, as Greg Olsen dropped to the 107th overall pick versus an ADP of 70.0.

Jay Cutler, taken with the 38th overall pick, has an ADP of 118.3 across all NFL.com leagues. That may have been a bit of a reach in the 4th round.

At seven different roster slots, Lovely Day for a Guinness picked up projected top-3 players (including Jamaal Charles, A.J. Green, and the 49ers Defense).
Watch your players play in preseason games online.
Let's see how I can screw this up . . .

YOUR CHANCES TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS = 69.8%

I didnt do that great, but we'll see how it goes

Bears Kill People Racks Up Pass Catchers

  • Draft Grade C+
  • Proj Record 4-10
  • Proj Finish 11

Bears Kill People will be aiming to prove the doubters wrong after garnering an 11th-place projection in TMS 2014 FFL. They decided that the time for wide receivers was early, using three of their first four picks on that position. Going hand-in-hand with that early investment, Bears Kill People secured the best foursome of wide receivers in the league.
  • Other NFL.com drafters felt that choosing Antonio Gates in the 8th round was somewhat of a stretch (90th overall pick versus an ADP of 130.0).
  • Antonio Brown will bring extra value if TMS 2014 FFL has a PPR format, as he's projected to rank fourth in the NFL with 96 receptions

My sheer willpower (and past experiences) enabled me to not draft a Bears player each round!

Punching Bag Picks a Pair of Lions

  • Draft Grade C+
  • Proj Record 4-10
  • Proj Finish 11
Draft Summary

Punching Bag was positioned nicely with a favorable draft pick, but built a team that will need to overachieve according to the pundits. They were careful to balance their roster from the beginning, picking up a quarterback, two running backs, and two wide receivers with their first five picks. By the time all the picks were completed, Punching Bag secured one of the best trios of wide receivers in the league.
  • The other league managers may have passed over a diamond in the rough, as Mike Wallace dropped to the 115th overall pick versus an ADP of 90.5.
  • Philip Rivers, chosen with the 67th overall pick, may have been somewhat of a gamble. Across all NFL.com leagues, his ADP was 110.6.
  • The choice of DeAndre Levy with the 211th pick represented the final-round selection with the fewest projected points.

Your chances to make the playoffs

5.8%
Great lol

Eh, what the heck. Here's mine.

---

SMOKIN' TIRE MARKS EXPECTS TO WAGE A BREAKTHROUGH CAMPAIGN
  • Draft Grade B
  • Proj Record 6-8
  • Proj Finish 5
DRAFT SUMMARY

Smokin' Tire Marks parlayed a good draft slot into a respectable performance. They opted for balance early, selecting a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end in their first four picks. As the draft concluded, Smokin' Tire Marks ended up with a combo of wide receivers with the most room for improvement.

  • Andrew Luck, taken with the 5th overall pick, has an ADP of 33.3 across all NFL.com leagues. That may have been a bit of a reach in the 1st round.
  • If other NFL.com users are right, Jeremy Maclin was a steal in the 13th round (149th overall pick versus an ADP of 102.8).
  • Pierre Garcon will bring extra value if TMS 2014 FFL has a PPR format, as he's projected to rank fifth in the NFL with 95 receptions.
---

I dunno. Seems like I did better'n that, but whatever happens happens.

Go TIRE MARKS!

No wonder your projected finish is so low. Everyone knows those guys have to get off their PED's once they leave bama. They're worthless in the NFL!

I think mine was A- and 10-4 record with a 1/3 chance of making the playoffs and 1/6 of winning it all. Yeah, not unless I can find some backups for oh, about half my starters. Bye weeks SUCK.

Whelp, that's gonna leave a mark... get it?! *Mark!?*

:P

Tate and Clowney both got hurt, so... yeah. That kinda stings.

Bears Kill People... and the competition. Good grief, I'm wonderin' what Scott did to those poor people as sacrifices to put up such a whoompin' on all us peons. 140 vs... well, not nearly as much for any of us.

'Course the week's not done, and Andrew Luck could put up 80 points... buuut I kinda doubt it...

Huh! Lookin' pretty decent now... I might achieve second in points. Weird.

I'm only runnin' with two leagues this year, this one, and one at work. I'm currently beating the SNOZBERRIES outta everyone else, points wise, in that work league.

And here I thought my draft and players were 'meh.' Kinda pumped now, I might actually do well this year.

But then.. it's only one week. So... yeah. No big giant head, houtex... long way to go yet...
Go Tire Marks!

My backup RB, Chris Ivory, had more points than both my starters including McCoy. WR's were MIA. If not for my kicker, I'm dead in the water this week. I still might pull it out if I can some how manage to get roughly 25 points from my QB, last WR and defense. I'm not optimistic, considering the utter crap show everyone else handed in for me this week.
