This year, all I am hoping for is that the Hawks AT LEAST make it to the playoffs and I will be happy.

Anyone else watching the heritage classic right now? Kinda slow for the first ten min with all the snow, but its pretty cool that many people made it out to the game. Should help hockey in the states.

Thanks for the reminder. I had it mark to watch, but have been caught up in the Tenn vs. Wis football game.

Been watching the Senators for over 10 years now (back in 1994), hoping they get everything sorted out and more than one scoring line! I think that was their weakest link in the finals last year. They've been good for so long now, I just want them to win a cup and get it over with!!

But it was sure fun watching them knock out Buffalo last year the same way the Sens went out the year before.

Ya, i dont wanna say the sens are in trouble, but they definitely need to step it up a bit... then again, Alfredssons skates are some pretty big ones to fill...

Might be time for them to go free agent hunting. Anyone know how much cap room they have?

I think after choking the last couple years the cup will go back to where it belongs i'm thinking Detroit is up for another cup this year. The team is much younger yet they still have great talent, i'm thinking they may be a trade or two away from being favorites for the Cup. (i'm hoping they get Blake from LA and/or Sundin from Toronto)

the Pens wow thats funny I haven't laughed like that in a long time. I agree that the team has talent but you can't win the cup on offense alone.

Wow, pens just picked up Hossa and are 2 points out of the conference lead right now, look out east! Pricy pickup though.

I think whoever wins the east might run into some trouble with whoever comes out on top from the west though. Dallas should be pretty strong with Richards now.
