Favorite Team?

Holy mackeral what a home field advantage that Boise State has with that blue turf field!!
I listened to a night game where Wyoming played them, and the broadcasters said they couldn't see the ball up in the booth!! Imagine the players on the field!! Plus, Boise State wears all blue, so it's like playing against a team of Rambos in the Cambodian forest (now I'm am aging myself).
Wyoming has an enrollment of 10,500 (or thereabouts) and a stadium that only holds 33,000. The NCAA is actually making it so that all teams have to have an average attendance above a certain level to keep them at I-A. It's like over a period of 3 years. My beloved Pokes play at an elevation of 7,500 feet (outdoors, unlike NAU who plays indoors) so it is hard to get people to watch games, especially in November (elements and elk hunting season, yeah, we're low-brow up in dem parts, among other pasttimes ). We've only averaged about 15,000 the last few years.
I just hope we can stay at the I-A level, seeing how WYO is the only major college in a state the same size as Colorado, but a lower population than anybody in the states.

Yes he did. He played there on the team that almost went undefeated back in '67. Bob Devaney also coached Wyoming before moving on to Nebraska and winning a couple of National Championships there.
Wyoming puts out a few athletes (very few in fact), but they're considered golden in WYO. (Theo Ratliff is still the premiere athlete with WYO ties)

FSU baby. Even though we are jinxed with Rix at QB........looking forward to ANYONE else playing QB so we'll have a legit shot at another title.
GO NOLES.

True - I watched Xavier Lee in the big HS Football Florida vs. the USA game last year - he looked awesome! I think that if Jeff Bowden will open up the O a little and run the shotgun ala Charlie Ward, things will get ALOT better.

Personally, even though UA loves to give UGA a good trouncing.... This is my favorite mascot, I have been begging my husband for one for years..
Him: I will not get you one of those slobbery beasts. Gotta settle for a greyhound again

Uga rocks!
We have too many stairs for a bulldog - so we adopted two greyhounds

I hate to say it, but I sure am glad poor wittle Rixie hurt his foot against Clemson so early in the game.
