That's baseball but if you're telling me you're soo confident from what you've seen from the cards in the 3 games they've played you're fan blind. Come on be honest

You're dreaming friend, because the Giants are exactly the same way. They BEAT Cincinnati in Cincinnati 3 straight when the red's never lost 3 straight at home ALL year.

Well guess we gotta go back to San Fran before we go to the World Series, but I understand wanting to vaca on the west coast before the Cards have to play seven hectic games in St. Louis and Detroit lol

Yeah Giants played good defense last night. Made some nice stabs. Zito was dang near throwing slow pitch all night. 70's & 80's.

Pence made some good plays. He missed this one but the slowmo pic cracked me up.

"Not sure where this is going to land. I'll double my chances with my tongue!" lol

"Come here zee vittle ball! I vant to EAT YOU!!"

Cards played bush league last night.
Carpenter has earned his solid reputation over the years - esp in pressure games. But many games I've watched him pitch he seems to take 2-3 innings to get in the grove. And if the bats and defense aren't behind him those first innings, the game goes away fast.

I also think Matheny is making a mistake by rotating 1st base so often. That position is like catcher - you need a rock solid guy there that the team is used to.

OK, enough arm chair managing.

GO CARDINALS!!
