hehe - on a side note I thought it was interesting that Molina was so nice with Saltalamacchia at the plate. Didn't even try to take him out. I guess catcher respect but still... this is October. This is the month when baseball IS a contact sport!

 

I'm loving how buchholz likes to keep running his fingers through his sweaty hair even though it's in the 40's here. I'm not accusing but this isn't his first time being accused or actually being caught and this is twice Boston's pitchers are under scrutiny for unknown substances on their person

 

I would be sweaty to but he does appear to be lathered up even before he begins!

Well we got that game out of the way. My goal for the Cardinals is to win 2 of 3 at home then 1 of 2 back at Boston.
I've never been a Lynn fan, I don't know if it's just me but it seems every time he's pitching we loose even if he not directly the cause of it. When I found out he was pitching I thought we would loose this one.

I thought Lynn pitched pretty good last night!

 

That's the thing, he did but we still lost. It might just be me but it seems every time he pitches (even when he's ok) we loose. He won 15 games this regular season so I guess I didn't watch a lot of games he pitched LOL.
My daughter in law knows his Grandma (she comes into the restaurant she works at) and told her last night that the Cards were definitely going to win - - Grandma lied - sad - LOL

 

Dang! It's going to be tough to win 2 at Fenway.

 

Sad night, no bats! Yes we have a big hill to climb but never give up hope. We shall see......
Good pitching on the mound next game & if are bats can come alive we will take it to game 7.

I think Wacha is going to do his Clayton Kershaw impression in game six. I don't think it goes seven games.

 

Gotta remember how strong they were on the road against Atlanta, Pittsburg, and Cinci.
