Of course the great Bear Bryant used to make his players go without water during summer two-a-days to make them tougher. But that was another era. Thankfully.

Do you think any school is going to hire Leach? All idications are Craig James son was lazy with an attitude! But still . . . . . . . its one thing to be right, but another thing to be unemployed!

That's the other side of the story. Leach said James came out to the practice field with sunglasses and an attitude. Also, that James had contacted other university officials numerous times before the event in question.

More information will eventually come out from those who have witnessed the saga and the Craig's son will be on the defensive side and it won't be as a middle linebacker.

Doesn't much look like Cincinatti belongs in the same dome as a BCS team. But they did win the Big East so I guess they have the right to be there. I would have really liked to see TCU play Florida to see if TCU was for real or not. Obviously Cincy is not.

What the heck happened to Florida in the SEC Championship? It looked like Bama played their best possible game, and Florida played its worst.

You have to go back to the previous SEC championship when UF was very hungry and beat Alabama.

As a Monday morning quarter back I'd say the Gators were not as enthusiastic or motivated. Alabama sure was.

Perhaps when all the facts of the story comes out, another university will hire him.
"... In the affidavit released Saturday, (trainer Steve) Pincock said following James' concussion diagnosis, he (Adam James) showed up at practice in "street clothes, his cap on backwards, and sunglasses and began walking around the field in a very nonchalant way."

Pincock said Leach was upset by James' attitude and did not want the other players witnessing it..."

It looks like Adam James fully knowing who he was dealing with decided to provoke the clash. Perhaps he has playing big shot due to daddy's support.

Michigan tried to pad the non-conference schedule to get the 6 wins (bowl eligible). . . it didn't quite work . . . maybe we should put some aa football teams on the schedule . .. . .or play Notre Dame twice!

Boy. Texas is a big underdog with everyone. It's like 2006 all over again.

Alabama is favorite by 4 points. I thought by kickoff time they would be up by a touchdown.

Yeah. I was gonna say that. On the street Bama is a huge favorite. But in Vegas it's just 4 points.

You watched last year's BCS Championship game. I was there.

Well, the game is pretty underwhelming so far. Texas without McCoy just isn't much of a game. It looks like Alabama will probably win, but I think it would be hard to say that this game is really going to answer the question of which team was better this year.
