Portugal is playing without few very important players. England will win, probably 1:0 or 2:1.

The one player I do look forward to seeing in the Portugal side is Christiano Ronaldo... From the few flashes of greatness he has shown this cup, he will be a great player in the cups to come.

Along with "El Nino" Torres from Spain, and Rooney from England

England's out.

Portugal was a lot better team mostly because of Rooney's stupid mistake.

Very stupid mistake!
His temper got the best of him again. I read a magazine about 6 months ago that mentioned that England had a chance to go far if Rooney didnt self-explode. They were right.

I was rooting for them 'til the end... I was hoping for a win

Next: Brasil - France. Brasil will win, but not easily.

I believe Brazil will win also... although I think they might win this one easily. France isnt the same team they were, and I think Brazil has yet to show what they are capable of against a quality team.

We'll have two portugues teams playing against eachother on wednes

Last time Brasil won against France was in 1958. Since then they played 4 times and France won all 4 games.

Wow, really poor coaching decisions imo... Cafu was in the game way too long. It was horrible seeing him play... he couldnt catch up to the French, and he looked lost out there. I would not even had started this aging star. Roberto Carlos was another non-factor, that should not have started. The only reason to have Roberto Carlos in a game is for the set pieces, which they didnt even utilize him for.

Once they got Cafu out of there, they seemed to move the ball better.

But all in all, France just outplayed Brazil, and didnt give them any space to get good opportunities.
Really good game from France

Now only European teams stand
