I mean honestly the 6 cylinder Stang is a nice car for the money.

Me and my buddy have a TT 382 trans am that runs 8's on slicks, and i know there are people out there that can beat it. Im sure i could beat 95% of the vehicles on the road, but i know for a fact that others can win.

He was hit by a guy that fell asleep at the wheel coming out of the BART station (im from SF). Nice insurance check.
Car was stock until at 2400 miles we got rear ended by an expedition (broke my back) and thats when we put the SLP 382 stroker motor in it and the TT. Cost of car and mods was around 72k (a whole lot yes i know, but it was fun)
It was only street legal because my buddy jason worked at the smog station at our local gas station.

Ok, might as well add my .02 here.
GTO = nice car for the money but it does nothing for me in the "looks" dept. I was at a car show earlier today and some guy was leaving in a black looking "grand prix" car. Not until i noticed the badging did i realize it was a GTO. Now, i'm thinking of, perhaps getting the woman one and when i don't want to take out my Shelby in foul weather, i'll just take the GTO. Both cars are fast enough for me but when caught in the GTO, i can always fall back to: "No no, this isn't mine, it's the old lady's grocery getter".
Good luck with your GTO but one thing that i've been wondering. How many guys look over at you thinking there must be a chick driving it?

Yes I agree it has a simple desgin, but def. not girly.
I think of a girly car as a Solstice, VW Jetta, 6 cylinder Stang, But definetly not my Black GTO with red interior and 400 hp. I mean you can hear this car coming a block down the road.
Def. not a chick car. Guess you have never driven one.
Also 05's look a lot better than 04's

But in all honesty, the car looks like a chicks car with a nice engine in it.
