They're saying this "concept" is about 95% percent production ready. What could that 5% be? It doesn't have a retractable pickup bed, or gull-wing doors. I hope this doesn't mean that the sick front end styling, inward slanted headlights, which so far have only shown up on other mustang concepts (05 concept, GTR), are gonna disappear on the production version. If that front end goes back to normal, this car won't have all that much going for it, visually, if you ask me. Has anybody read anywhere a mention of what aspects of this concept aren't likely to meet production?
Maybe the 95% means they haven't quite finished everything, as in there's about 5% of the car that is currently still like the regular mustang which will be replaced with cooler stuff on the production version.... that'd be pretty sweet. SHELBY TAIL LAMPS! SIDE SCOOPS OR 3/4 WINDOW VENTS OR SCOOPS! just something to distinguish the rear and sides.

The wheel size is coming down from 19" to 18", but that's all I know for certain (I believe HTT admitted this). Personally I'd like to see wider tires, maybe some functional C-scoops that cool the brakes, maybe unique taillights in the classic Shelby design, but other than that I am pretty much cool with "everything you see here."
I doubt they'd drop the cool new front fascia. The more recent SVT Cobras have always had a distinct front end treatment.

The last 5% most likely refers to things like the 19" wheels changing to 18" wheels for the production car. And, a Shelby or Cobra emblem showing up on the seats. Small changes like these are what i would be expecting. Nothing big, like changing the front end design or even changing the tail lights, will likely happen.

I hope they only change the little things like those things or maybe painted mirrors.
I'll be seriously bummed if they change the look esp. the front end and the hood.

I'll tell you what. I think Ford really looks to what Enthusiasts like us want. I bet they read these forums to see what we are saying. You may actually get your painted mirrors and other small changes. I seriously cant see them changing the front end back to GT style. They are banking on that awesome front end and realize it would be a stupid mistake to tease us like that. I really cant see them being that stupid.

Motor Trend stated that the Hood and the Chin Spoiler will be different for the production model. Also, their will be other wheels.
