Cobra for me too!

I could use the extra horspower. 250hp on the way to work and the other 250 on the way back.

Its actually pretty simple: going forward, even numbers are coupes and convertibles, odd numbers are sedans and wagons. Even numbered cars share a platform with the odd number car directly, numerically preceding them.
I was just messing around!

I like the fact BMW is bringing back a M3 4-Door. Was always a fan of the 4-Dorr M3 (The 2 (I think) years they made them.)

Saw a new 6-series convert. this afternoon. Pretty sweet.

It was at a local body shop (not damaged, but the shop does 90% BMW dealer work) I drive by going to/from work.

I will wait for the 06-07 Cobra...also hoping it will come with paddle-shifters. I know you hardcore stick shifters don't favor it, but a paddle-shift option would draw MANY more Mustang owners into our club.

I think the 06-07 Cobra will be similar to the FR500...there was a guy on here saying it would be N/A 5.0 Cammer which would be fine. Would like to see the cost sub 50K...that would be a killer car!

Cobra it is!

I have dreamed of owning a Cobra since I was 14 and I think by the time the next one comes out I will be able to afford one. 50k or not, Lucifer and I have a deal

My problem will be deciding on SVT or Shelby. The brain says SVT, the hear says Shelby

Nope. That's definitely not an M3. There hasn't ever been a four-door M3 of the E46 series, there were only some few M3 sedans at the time the old E36 series came out.

Oh and by the way: that stuff about odd and even numbers might not be true. I am perfectly sure that BMW will offer 3 series coupes and convertibles in the future. They are very, very successful.

problem is you try driving a 400+HP RWD car through a Canadian winter

Welcome to last year dude. BMW has a confirmed an E90 M3 4-door months ago.

I am perfectly sure that BMW will offer 3 series coupes and convertible too. I am also perfectly sure that those cars will be labeled 4 instead of 3. The number on the back of the car will have zero bearing on how succesful it is.

Clue for you: do some research before you post.

By the time the new Cobra comes out, my 03 snake will just about be ready to be replaced.
So, if I can afford it, I see a new Cobra in my future, but it might be three years from now. That would be just fine, would give me a total of almost four years in my 03.

I'm not waiting for the Cobra. It's waiting for me...to escort it from the factory to my driveway--forget the dealer =)
