I think the wheels look much better this way and not in chrome and the car definatley looks much better without the spoiler, IMO. still not my favorite 05 but this one isnt too bad, worth a look anyway, but I thought Saleen failed California Emissions so how was this guy able to buy one, or is it just Cali that you can't get them yet, since its not the first I've seen for sell?

That actually looks pretty good.
Saleen failed the emissions test during their test run with an automobile magazine, because Saleen juiced it to get better numbers. dumb Saleen :notnice: I dont think the average Saleen would fail the test

I dont' think the back end looks that bad. It actually enhances the body lines. It kinda reminds me of a cross between a 'Cuda and and Vette. The only thing I don't like is that plastic panel on the inner tail lamp. IMO, it's not a Mustang if it don't have tri-bar tail lamps.
After speaking to people who know the family personally, and seeing the work in person and up close, I can tell you that I wouldnt pay for anything Saleen makes for the Mustang. Some of thier stuff looks good, but the quality of the work is just not what it used to be... they let it go into the toilet, and have overpriced a lot of stuff.
They are focusing primarily on the S7.

I am dying to see what SVT and Shelby throw into the ring next week, though.
My bad for making it sound as if the whole world agrees with me... my comments are not statements of fact as to quality, only the opinion I have formed. I have never owned a Saleen, I wanted a 281 a couple years ago. Still love the look of the 99-04s.
Incidently, saw a satin silver on the road today, and defintely like the front end of it. Gave the guy a
, just because no matter what I think of Saleen, he obviously likes it, and was defintely a happy guy driving it.
Clay is 100% right, there is no point in arguing about opinions. If you want one, get it, and drive it like you stole it!
