I am late to the party (I just discovered this beauty on the magazine racks last week)......Is this making tours of car shows or anything? I would love to see it in person. I live in the bay state.

 

I live in Maine and if the allocation for Northeast dealers are any indication you and I should see the Shelby GT500 around 2010 or 2011 I dunno honestly. There have been alot of recent threads about people seeig it at big shows. I would doubt we will get the honor of seeing it up in our neck of the woods. heck we are lucky they allow us to buy magazines that have pics of it in them!LOL

 

We will probably see it at the Boston new car show in Late Jan/Feb of '06. Yikes!

The 25th Annual Mustang Roundup will be held July 14-17 in Bellevue Washington. They say this is the "Worlds Largest Annual Gathering Of Mustangs". Some of the big dogs from Ford SVT, Saleen and others show up to show off. I'm expecting to see a GT500 or 2 at the Roundup, although I don’t have confirmation one will be there. Okay, I called svt, and they said that they couldn't answer as to where it would be because so many divisions within Ford are pulling the cars in so many directions--they are wanted all over the place. So, while I was on the phone, I pushed about a twin screw.
He understood I was "pro 2-screw".

In response to the original topic question, your best bet is to check the event calendar at http://www.svt.ford.com for events near you, you might luck out...

 

I just looked at that calender and they dont list them being at SAAC this weekend wich is really wierd you would think that they would be there, does any know if the car will be there. And whats up with them only going to tuner events in Cali, and for that matter why so many tuner events? Oh well I guess this means I will be going to HIN this month.

Brockton area. That car was awesome, I miss it....That pic was taken about 6 years ago and the car had about 100k on the clock at the time.....I beat on it and it went downhill from there, and I dumped it with about 120k on the clock....Now I drive a 130hp focus! lol.....fun car though too.

I am hoping to get to see it up close and in person at the FFW in Norwalk, Oh. this weekend. I am making the trip up there just for that purpose. Hope to grab a few pics of it.

 

macd23...same here i had to dump mine when I developed electrical problems mine looked identical to that but I had a saleen wing on the back and 17 inch centerline billet saber rims on her man i miss her..now i dirve a 170hp nissan xterra and man I am looking forward to the day I pick up the new shelby

 

Just got back from FFW in Norwalk. NO SHELBY :angry:

I asked the SVT guy why they didn't have it, he said they were supposed to have it in the trailer all the time, but that lasted about week. Everyone keeps saying they need it for this and that and they can't get it for the shows.

People want to see this car, there is no reason that can't have a schedule of where it will be. :bang:

 

i was at the E-town FFW and SVT wasnt even their, not one steeda or saleen on the grounds, needless to say i was pissed :angry: SVT didnt have any sort of display or anything, but FORD was their with all their truck motors and frames in cut away form.

 

It might show up at the FFW in Epping NH in August. We can only hope.
