Were you there with a kid? My son and I were trying to figure out who it belonged to.

Congrats!

We have an Identical one on our Showroom! The Vista Blue White Stripe Combo Looks Fantastic! My Gt/Cs has the 427r Tune but with a Polished Blower! Love it! BTW how do you Like the Roush Shifter???? Thinking of Ordering one!

Sweet Car. I like your Roush better then the rest, I had those louvers on my previous stang, I only had two problems with them (the fit issue he is talking about was on mine too I think it's just the way they are cut)

1. Since the quarter window can't bee seen through anymore you do get a big blind spot back there.

2. since they are not part of the body dust/dirt tends to get under them and due to slight movement during driving they do make wear marks around where the window is, not a problem if you don't ever want them removed.

The Roush website shows the nearest dealer as being a 2 hour drive so I might have to do much of the planning of options, etc. long distance.

Again, thanks!

I sell Roush and SVT at my shop here in Houston on a hobby job basis. If you have any questions, pls. feel free to ask me or pm and i can help bridge the distance gap for you. The Roush Dealer responsibility includes customer service no matter whare you are located.

You will have a sweet Ride in the 427R - i drove a Grabber Orange one at my shop recently and was in love. I like the responsiveness of the S/C and the sound;- as much as my SVT.

I have the Roush Beam and tall Handle w/ Ball **** in my 2005 Roush. Have driven so many setups with regards to shifters and this one is the best to me. Extremely short, to the point that it is nice to have the tall Roush handle for leverage and acts like an old school speed jammer. It feels solid as well.

Roush Does Not Use the IUP in Any of Their Regular Production Cars. I believe the Only way to Get IUP in a Roush is to Do a Drop Thru Order.

So where exactly does the "427" come from? Horsepower is 415. Roush describes the car as "slightly less in content." So the "427" is basically a striping package?

I believe the HP is actually that number. They increase it, with a few mods, to up it slightly.

Yes. The IUP would need to be ordered on the GT from the Factory and then it is Drop Shipped from there to Livonia, MI, where they Create the GT into a Roush. After, it is shipped to your Roush Dealer to be Titled and Sold.

The "427 R" denotes the HP rating of the car. The add a Roush Off Road Exhaust and modify the Tune to get the extra 12 hp above that of the Stage 3.

"slightly less in content" refers to the "pretties" of the car - the Options, if you will. Whereby the 427R has the same Performance of the Stage 3 and a lower price.

I agree, this is a much nicer ride and a much better deal than the Shelby GT! In 40 years we will be collecting 2007 Roushs, not 2007 Shebly GTs.
