Exterior- White with a white top because the concept cars have cool paint jobs but I would rather see a concept car that actually looks like somthing I could drive everyday. Also most of the body kits out there are obviosly aftermarket they just dont fit flush with the rest of the body the kit should look factory.I would like to see side exaust like the old roushes or cme exaust like the saleen or a 02 Slp camaro SS

Grille: I would like to see something like the CDC grill but with a black or billet finish.I would also see a centered tribar pony and centered fogligts or lights hidden behind the grill.I also dont like the grill ''covers'' that just go over the factory grill I would rather spend more money on a whole replacement grill. The lower grill also has to be removed and a matching lower grill would be nice but not important if it dosent look good with the body kit

Pedals:Bullit pedals with a dead pedal

Performance mods:Screw-rootstype supercharger, upgrade brakes drilled and slotted rotors,a cai that dosent only add hp but looks nice and looks factory like the c&l performance one or somthing that looks like its off a Ls1 or ls6 with the airbox in the front also the red fuel rail covers might look nice on a mustang the car also needs a intake cover like the pre-production models Rear spoiler:either a spoiler delete or ducktail

Headlights: I like the head like covers so I wouldnt remove them but I would like to see the turnsignals smaller in the front facsia

Interior:
- white face gauges
- white/black two tone seats
- billet aluminum and carbon fiber are an interiors friend
-Hand brake lever has to go
-a subaru wrx sti style shift ****
-gauge pod

Hood: older saleens 281-e 03/04 cobra style hood

Wheels:mesh wheels like the steeda asa wheels maybe 20s in back 19s up front
Springs:the car needs to be low

Faux Gas Cap: I like the idea of a replacement something that looks like its off a race car

I'll second that. Fortunately I doubt I'll have my car by SEMA as I'll be ordering in the next few days, so I'll have time to see it before I need to make any decisions

Let's hope it's something that doesn't need to go sideways over speedbumps That and the tacked on look of the side skirts are what I don't like about the current SS kit. Actually, all the kits I like are WAY too low. It is possible to make a good looking front fascia that you don't have to be afraid will rip off in parking lots and on steep driveways, and I'd like to actually see someone make one (aside from the Xenon that resembles the concept front fascia, which I won't buy because of the Xenon logo molded into it and the CDC chin spoilers that I can't make up my mind about).

same here, my driveway is sloped, and i have speedbumps all over my town, so i cant get the bodykit, but i really dislike the v6 front since it like smiles, so i wish a nice kit that doesnt lower it 2 inches would come out, i mite just resort to getting a gt bumper

Here's a suggestion, instead of doing tack on side scoops, how about full rear quarter panels with scoops that look integral to the car and are functional as brake vents. It would be more expensive but IMHO gives the opportunity to do some things people have wanted like more retro rear quarter lines (ie hips) and a spoiler that's integral to the car instead of tacked on (well, except for the center section on the trunk).

Or if you want to go all out, rear quarter panels, and a new rear end with something closer to the classic Shelby taillights.

It looks like my car will be arriving in early December after SEMA, so I'm eager to see what SS comes up with. Especially if it's close to Matt's designs which is somewhat like what I have in mind for my car.

it would be cheaper to get the scoops and mold them into the body before painting and repaint that whole section or even the car, you could also be very ballzy and cut into the body to make them functional but to make a replacement piece doesnt make much sense because the whole rear quarter panel is on piece with the side of the roofline and runs all the way to the front quarter panel.

wow you must have a real steep driveway, my 98 is very low and I have friends with cars even lower only an inch off the ground and they rarely cant go over something it gets tricky and annoying but most things you can, just think about the guys in Ferrarris and cars like that, also try backing up it the rear end is much higher

we should also start a thread soon of people going to SEMA so we can plan a place to meet up and get to know each other better and check out each others rides for those that bring them

From: SoCal
-Vortech Supercharger
-Toneau Cover with lightbar
-**Color changing paint**
-Mesh grille, same style as the CTS-V, but in black
-remove factory fog lights

I think color is everything as proven by yuor Orange 05. The car had a simple color scheme, but that eye grabbing paint just drew you in, and showed off the angles and lines of your body kit.

No more Retro styled Mustangs please!

I'd like to see some quarter scoups, some thing like what 3D Carbon has done just a little longer, rear window scoops, a hood with a traditional style scoop like the Roush scoop. I would like to see an Eleanor style front fascia in urethane, definately include you guy's ducktail spoiler, blackout of the tail light panel and the trim in between and around the lenses. Lemans stripes are a must, traditional 60's style wheels like Halibrands, or Cragar SS, American Torque Thrust.

Yeah upon closer inspection of a car on the lot I noticed that.

So scratch the quarter panels... how about scoops that actualy carry back from the front edge of the quarter panel back to the wheelwell / fender that can be molded to the body so they look like a real scoop instead of like a bulge in the car in front of the fender

For example the BBR scoops look great from the front but from the rear you have this big inward curve then a few inches then the bulge out from the fender. It would be cool if they were longer and tapered in somewhat to mesh with the rear fender.

OMG I just thought of something real sick, not only to have those functional, but who bad **** would it look with the proper sideskirt where the rear hockey stick runs up to it and then into a wide fender in the rear, all molded, then tub the fenders and put some fat slick on it, OMG, I need some alone time.....lol

Close, but not sloping in quite that much so its wider at the fenders like more straight back on the scoops as opposed to sloped in.

And your idea in the post after the one I quoted is SICK

I recommend that SS needs to come out with a hood similar to the hoods on the 03/04 Cobras.

As far as the version 2 kit...i'm hoping it will have a cleaner rear bumper. I haven't been a huge fan of the current one, but I plan on buying it anyway.

And as stated by me on the thread for the center-fog-light grill thread...I'd love to see SS have a lower-grill fog-lights mounting option.

the ultimate would be a sonic blue with white in the middle twon tone paint job, 20 inch bullits 03 kenne bell cobra motor/tranny, black interior with inserts and black recaro seats, ducktail, roush stage 3 concept style hood scoop, side scoops, stock bumper is nice enough left alone.

Probably in November when pics from SEMA come out, though a sneak preview would be REALLY nice for those of us trying to decide what to do to our cars
